BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Philadelphia University women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 overtime defeat to the University of Bridgeport Wednesday evening on Knights Field.

Danielle Puddefoot notched the match's only goal with 10 second left in the first extra session. Becky Wallis played a through ball up to Puddefoot who did the rest, flicking into the goal at the 99:50 mark.

Kelli Kowalewski played well in goal for the Lady Rams (5-4-0) by making 11 saves, six coming in the second half.

Bridgeport's Julia Hasson stopped two shots. The Purple Knights (4-3-1) outshot the Lady Rams by a 16-4 margin, including a 10-2 gap in the second half.

Philadelphia returns to Ravenhill Field for a Homecoming Day showdown against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponent Felician on Saturday, Sept. 29 at noon.
