Box Score WILMINGTON, Del. – The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team suffered its first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) loss of the season as it was defeated by Wilmington (Del.), 3-0, in the WU Athletics Complex Friday night.
The set scores of the match were 25-18, 25-17, 25-17. Philadelphia is now 8-4 overall and 4-1 in the CACC. Wilmington (Del.) goes to 14-4 and 6-0 in the conference.
Outside hitter Brittany Olson recorded a team-high eight kills in the loss for the Lady Rams. Middle hitter Jordan Milligan posted five kills, while middle hitter Chelsea Hughes had four.
Setter Allyson Schillinger posted a double-double consisting of 12 assists and 12 digs. Libero Morgan McCarthy contributed 12 digs.
Wilmington's Nicole Wiechecki posted a match-high nine kills and 10 digs. Kasey Couch had 14 assists and 10 digs. Shelby Henderson added a match-high 12 digs. Kaitlin DGiacinto recorded 10 digs to go with six kills.
The Lady Rams get right back to work with a Homecoming Day CACC match against visiting Dominican (N.Y.) on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m.
