Box Score PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team extended its season-high winning streak to four after sweeping Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent USciences 3-0 Tuesday night in Bobby Morgan Arena.
Philadelphia (9-7, 8-2 CACC)—who has earned sweeps in all four matches during the streak—won on Tuesday night with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, and 25-17.
Senior outside hitter Brittany Olson (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) and sophomore middle hitter Chelsea Hughes (Wading River, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) led the Philadelphia offense with 10 kills each. Hughes added seven total blocks (one solo, six assists) and Olson recorded three service aces.
Sophomore setter Allyson Schillinger (Spring Hill, Fla./Springstead) tallied 19 assists and nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter Allison Manley (Saint Charles, Ill./Saint Charles E.) had a team-high 15 digs and seven kills.
USciences (8-15, 4-6 CACC) got 10 kills and 11 digs from Amanda DeAngelo. Kaileen Bevenour had 24 assists, while Nicole Rivera recorded a match-high 23 digs.
Philadelphia continues its string of road matches on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Post. Match time is 1 p.m.
