PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (17-3, 8-3 CACC) picked up its fourth straight victory with a 3-0 sweep at USciences on Tuesday evening.

GAMEPLAY
The Rams opened up an 8-5 lead in the first set. The Devils rallied for four points to go ahead 9-8. USciences held a 12-11 advantage when Jefferson put together a 7-1 run to go in front 18-13. The Rams did not trail the rest of the way, winning 25-19.

The two squads went back and forth to begin the second frame. Jefferson clung to an 11-10 lead but broke it open with a 7-1 surge. The Devils only closed to within five before the Rams went on to win the set 25-14.

In the third, USciences was ahead 14-12 before Jefferson tallied four in a row to take the lead. The Devils came back to even the score at 16 and it was the first of six ties as the teams battled. With the score deadlocked at 22, the Rams took three consecutive points to clinch the match.
