PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (3-8-2, 2-6-1 CACC) dropped its CACC game to Caldwell, 2-0, on Saturday at Ravenhill Field.

GAMEPLAY
The Rams came out hot, registering six shots in the first 12 minutes but none of them found their way into the net. The Cougars countered and surprised Jefferson with the first goal of the contest at the 13-minute mark on a rebound. The Rams continued to have a shot advantage over the rest of the frame but Caldwell took its 1-0 lead into the break.

Both teams had chances in the opening minutes of the second period. Jefferson thought it had the equalizer in hand in the 57
th minute with the goalkeeper out of the net but a Caldwell defender cleared the ball out before it crossed the line. The Cougars limited the Rams to two shots over the following 20 minutes before notching an insurance goal in the 75
th minute. Caldwell dribbled the ball down the right side, centered into the box, and beat the keeper to the left. Jefferson did not place a shot on target over the closing 15 minutes.
