PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team recorded its second straight shutout with a 21-0 blanking of visiting Caldwell on Saturday afternoon. The Rams improved to 7-1 on the year and 4-0 in the CACC.
GAMEPLAY
Jefferson jumped out to a 9-0 lead within the opening 10 minutes and scored 15 total in the first half. The Rams netted six goals in the second period. They were a flawless 13-of-13 on clears, picked up 22 ground balls, controlled 19 draws.
Kelsey Kaplowitz stopped both of the Cougars' shots on goal.
