PHILADELPHIA - Deondre Bourne became the 59
th player in program history to record 1,000 career points as the Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball team (8-3, 4-0 CACC) cruised to a 101-67 victory at USciences on Thursday night.

GAMEPLAY
The Devils were ahead 7-5 early in the contest before the Rams took over with a 12-1 run to lead 17-8.
Antonin Kemkeng led the way with six points,
Erik Timko netted four, and
Deondre Bourne added a layup. After USciences made a pair of free throws, Jefferson produced nine of the next 11 to up the margin to 14 (26-12). The stretch included a three-pointer by Bourne that gave him the career scoring milestone. It was a 12-point game (30-18) when the Rams pulled away again with eight of the next 10 for an 18-point cushion (38-20). The margin was still 18 (40-22) with 4:10 to go but the Devils closed the gap to 11 (47-36) with a 14-7 surge to end the half.

Jefferson opened the second half with a 10-0 surge for its largest lead of the game at that point at 21 (57-36). Four different players contributed to the run. The Rams gradually wore down the Devils throughout the period as USciences never came closer than 16. The score was 93-67 before Jefferson netted the final eight points of the contest.
