NEWARK, Del. – The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (10-4, 5-2 CACC) suffered a 3-1 setback at conference foe Wilmington (8-11, 6-2 CACC) on Tuesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams scored the last four points of the first set to win 25-22. Jefferson had a 22-18 advantage in the second but Wilmington rallied for seven of the final eight to steal the frame, 25-23. It was déjà vu in the third as the Wildcats went on a 7-1 run again to take the set 25-22. The host squad then closed the match with a 25-19 triumph in the fourth.
