PHILADELPHIA - Thomas Jefferson University had four volleyball players selected to the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

Mary Lauersen, Sam Mann, Jess Molen, and Morgan Ritchie represented the Rams on the squad.

To be eligible for Academic All-District accolades, student-athletes must be in at least their second year at their institution, appear in 50 percent of their team's contests, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Each institution is capped at four honorees.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late December.
