Softball Edged Twice By Goldey-Beacom

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Thomas Jefferson University softball team (7-19, 6-10 CACC) suffered a pair of one-run losses at Goldey-Beacom on Friday.

GAME ONE – L, 3-2
The Rams posted two runs in the opening frame on an error. However, they were held to just two hits the rest of the way. The Lightning struggled to find their offense as well, recording just two hits through the first five innings. GBC finally broke through in the sixth, tying the game with a two-run double then going ahead on an error. Jefferson was able to get the tying run in scoring position with one out but a strikeout and a groundout ended the game.
