Volleyball Posts Most Efficient Attack In Six Years In Sweep of Goldey-Beacom

PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (7-1, 3-0 CACC) won its seventh straight match with a dominant sweep of Goldey-Beacom (0-11, 0-2 CACC) on Thursday evening.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The teams were even at eight in the opening set before the Rams took control with a 6-1 run. With the score 16-12, Jefferson tallied nine in a row to win the frame, 25-12. The Rams carried the momentum into the second, recording the first three points. Jefferson led by four (7-3) before pulling away with a 9-1 stretch en route to a 25-9 victory. The Lightning were in front, 2-1, in the third but the Rams came back with a 14-2 surge and went on to clinch the match with a 25-12 triumph.

- The Rams have won 32 consecutive matches versus the Lightning.
