Late Goal Downs Men's Soccer Against Dominican

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (4-8, 3-5) held their own and took more shots, but a goal at the 79th minute dropped the Rams to Dominican University of New York (2-12, 2-6) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this Saturday afternoon.

WHAT HAPPENED
Each team wasn't able to find the net in the first half. The Rams took eight shots in the first period compared to the Chargers four. The game was competitive, with each team being physical and getting to the ball.

The second half proved to be the same, with fouls and cards being brought up more than the first half. Eventually, the Chargers drove down the left side and made their shot at the 79th minute to take a 1-0 lead which they would hold onto to the end of the match.

Before the match started, Jefferson honored their senior on Senior Day.
