KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball player
Erik Timko was selected to the NABC East All-District First Team, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Monday.
The award makes Timko a consensus First Team All-Region honoree as he was also named to the D2CCA All-East Region First Team earlier this month. The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division II. It is the second time that Timko has been recognized by the organization as he was a member of the All-District Second Team in 2021-22.
Timko leads the East Region and is 12
th in Division II with 22.5 points per game. He was named the CACC Player of the Year and helped lead the Rams to the CACC title game. The sophomore is one of the top three-point shooters in the nation, ranking eighth in total threes (95) and ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.452). Timko had 19 games with 20-plus points this season, including six with 30-plus.
