INDIANAPOLIS – The Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team earned the second seed in the East Region and will host third-seeded Southern New Hampshire to open the NCAA Division II Tournament on Friday, April 28
th at 1 p.m. at Legacy Youth Tennis Center.
The winner of the match advances to the Round of 16 and will compete for a national championship at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida from May 11-16.
The Rams (20-4) won their second straight CACC crown after going a perfect 9-0 in conference play and defeating Chestnut Hill in the tournament final. Jefferson is making its second NCAA Tournament appearance in a row and sixth overall. The Rams' 20 wins is tied for the single-season program record.
The Penmen (14-5) earned an automatic bid after winning the Northeast-10 Conference title, their first since 2019. SNHU is also making its second tourney trip in a row and it is their 10
th appearance overall.
