PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University baseball team (25-18, 14-7 CACC) swept a conference doubleheader versus Alliance (2-43, 1-21 CACC) on Thursday.
GAME ONE – W, 23-3 (7 inn.)
The Rams posted nine runs in both the first and third innings to spark the offensive onslaught.

Josh Lopez, and
Nick Squazzo all blasted home runs during the contest. Jefferson finished with 16 hits.

The Rams got out to a 4-0 lead over the first two innings before breaking it open with a nine-run third.
Dylan Rees crushed a solo home run and
Chris McLean hit a bases-clearing, three-run double to highlight the offensive attack.
Tyler Behm threw four innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and striking out four, to earn the win.

With the two wins, Jefferson moved into second place in the CACC South Division with three games remaining in the regular season. The Rams can secure a playoff spot with one more victory.
