KUTZTOWN, PA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis team (1-1) came into their non-conference match on Tuesday against Kutztown University (2-0) looking to build their momentum from the Saint Joseph's Invitational. After securing the doubles point and earning a 2-0 advantage, the Rams were upset on the day by the Golden Bears 5-2.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• Anthony Moukarzel and Enrique Soto Ballester took the first point for the Rams in doubles. Kutztown earned the third position win. Jules Thibault and Antonio Mateos Melenchon took the second spot 7-6 (7-5)
• Johary Rabetrano ended his match first with a 6-2, 6-0 win for the Rams 2-0 advantage
• The Golden Bears went to go win the next five matches on the day, with one match going to three sets. At least three sets went 7-5 on the day
