Women's Tennis Stays Perfect with Win Against District of Columbia
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (9-0) went on the road to go up against non-conference opponent the University of the District of Columbia (1-1) on Monday afternoon. The Rams took care of the Firebirds, winning 5-2.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Jefferson took the doubles point with a victory in the second position and a forfeit at the third slot. District of Columbia took the first doubles match over the Rams
- Jefferson earned the win with victories at the second, third, and fourth spot while securing the forfeit in the sixth. The Firebirds pushed the Rams in those matches, forcing four of the five contests to three sets with District of Columbia winning the first and fifth singles matches
