No.11 Women's Soccer Falls in Heartbreak in CACC Semifinals to Wilmington
PHILADELPHIA – No.11 nationally-ranked Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer (15-2-1) looked to repeat as Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) champions as they went up against Wilmington University (Del.) (10-2-6) on Tuesday afternoon. The Rams held the lead after the 24th minute, but the Wildcats tied it up with nine minutes to go and eventually had the game-winner five minutes into overtime as Jefferson fell 2-1 in the CACC Championship Semifinals.
