Women's Soccer has Three Rams Make D2CCA All-East Region Team
QUEENS, N.Y. – Thomas Jefferson University saw three of their players make the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Team this afternoon.
Nikki Dedes and
Carly Yeager were named to the All-Region First Team while
Mia Ferrara secures Second Team recognition.
Dedes makes the D2CCA All-East Region team for the third time in her career. This is her first time making the First Team as she appeared on the Second Team back in 2022 and 2024. Dedes sits atop the CACC in total points (34) while tying in assists (10) as she's top 5 in total goals, goals-per-game, points-per-game, and assists-per-game. The reigning CACC Player of the Year hit the 100 point milestone last game with two goals. Dedes currently has 12 goals, 10 assists, 34 points, and 4 game-winning goals on the year. She has started in all 20 appearances for Jefferson.
Yeager get on the D2CCA All-Region First Team for the third straight year as a defender. She has made 20 starts this season for the Rams. Yeager has helped the defense record 14 shutouts this season with a .700 shutout percentage, both tied for fifth in the nation. The three-time CACC Defensive Player of the Year has put pressure on opposing offenses, helping the squad allow 7.3 shots-per-game and .55 goals-per-game.
Ferrara makes the All-Region Team for the first time in her career as she has started in 19 games in as many appearances for the Rams, being on the defensive side of the ball more this year. Ferrara has helped the defense record 14 shutouts this season with a .700 shutout percentage, both tied for fifth in the nation. She also put pressure on opposing offenses, helping the squad allow 6.8 shots-per-game and .50 goals-per-game. Ferrara has also tied the team with 10 assists with two goals this year, accumulating 14 points this season.
