Two Runners Earn All-Region, Men's Cross Country Has Best Finish at NCAA East Region Championships
HOPKINTON, N.H. - Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country entered the NCAA East Region Championships with momentum, securing their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title since 2021 and used that as motivation to race against the best teams in the region. The Rams had two of their runners finish in the top-25 to earn All-Region honors and saw the team place fifth on the day, their highest finish in school history.
WHAT HAPPENED

Dylan Boyle, the CACC Rookie of the Year, led the team as he placed ninth on the day, running a 32:22.29 time in his first 10k collegiate event. Joining Boyle in the All-Region squad was Thierno Barry, taking 22nd as he ran a 33:15.21 time. Both freshman earn their first All-Region honors in their careers

Jefferson took fifth on the day, their highest finish in school history (the Rams placed seventh three times in 2013, 2021, and 2022). Their 144 points beat their lowest total by 63. Jefferson was only three points away from fourth place team Saint Michael's College
