Men's Tennis Joins PSAC as Associate Member

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis announces that they have become an Associate Member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) beginning this 2025-26 season.

"We are pleased to welcome both Chestnut Hill and Jefferson as Associate Members in men's tennis," said PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray.  "We have been strategic with our Associate Membership status in the past and this allows us to continue operating the sport of men's tennis as usual. It is critical that we maintain our automatic qualification into the Division II tournament as a conference, and these two institutions help strengthen that position for us."

Jefferson comes into the PSAC after claiming the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) titles from 2022-2025, with 2024 being the CACC division in the CACCxECC Men's League title. The Rams have made the NCAA Tournament for four straight seasons, making it to the Round of 16 in 2023 and 2024.

"We're thrilled to join the PSAC as an Associate Member," said Rams head coach Fred Perrin. "This move presents a great opportunity for our program. We're eager to compete at a high level and give our student-athletes the chance to grow by facing new teams and connecting with peers from across the country."

Jefferson joins the PSAC alongside cross-town rival Chestnut Hill College as they round out the conference to seven teams. Both institutions faced their new conference opponents last season, with the Griffins taking on Bloomsburg twice, Kutztown, Millersville, Kutztown, and West Chester while the Rams battled against the Golden Bears, Golden Rams, and Marauders during the 2024-25 season.
