Men's Tennis Begins Season Against Adelphi
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (0-1) opens their 2025-26 campaign on the road to go against Adelphi University (2-1). The Rams went to be defeated by the Panthers 5-2 on Monday afternoon competition.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Doubles went in favor of Adelphi, with Jefferson keeping the first and second singles matches close with a 7-5 score on both courts. The Panthers took the advantage point heading into the singles competition
- The Rams looked to comeback in the singles games, but Adelphi took the first, third, and second singles positions to earn the early victory
- Antonio Mateos Melenchon and Quentin Duvinage both took their matches to three sets as they earned wins in the fourth and fifth position
