Women's Tennis Secures Second Sweep on the Year; Defeats Dominican
MONSEY, N.Y. – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (2-0, 2-0) went on the road and competed in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action against Dominican University of New York (0-2, 0-2) on Tuesday. The Rams went to sweep every contest and defeat the Chargers 7-0.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Rams won their doubles contests, with all three being decided by a 6-1 score. Alycia Veroux and Anouk Oderkerk took the first doubles, Marta Vázquez and Marley Alvarado secured the second doubles, and Sophia Babar and Emily Frost decided the third doubles match
- The singles contest went all in favor of Jefferson, with each match being completed in two sets. Oderkerk, Veroux, Vázquez, Rose Huang, Alvarado, and Babar all earned singles point wins to secure the sweep
