Women's Soccer Blanks Post
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer (5-1, 1-0) competed at Ravenhill Field on Saturday, September 20 as they went up against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Post University (0-4, 0-1). The Rams shutout the Eagles 3-0 in conference action.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Rams scored early as Kyra Lesko made her shot at the 3:31 mark to give Jefferson an early lead. Jefferson outshot Post 12-1 in the first half and 24-1 overall, making a statement on offense and defense. The score would remain 1-0 to the half
- After the break, Avery Nogami made her shot off a Alexa Callahan pass 52 seconds into the second half
- Mia Ferrara would put the nail in the coffin with a corner kick that made it into the net
