Women's Tennis Passes Dominican
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (4-0, 4-0) continued their winning streak as they won 7-0 over Dominican University (N.Y.) (1-3, 1-3) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition on Monday.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Rams earned the doubles point, winning the first and third positions 6-0. The Chargers earned the second spot 7-6 (7-2)
- Jefferson went to take all six singles matches, earning the 7-0 victory. Anouk Oderkerk, Alycia Veroux, and Madina Omarova all won in two sets with the same score they earned in the first set. Sophia Babar and Marley Alvarado took their matches in two as well while Marta Vázquez secured the victory by opponent retirement
