KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer seniors Nikki Dedes and Carly Yeager were selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team. Dedes earned First Team honors while Yeager was selected to the Second Team.
 
Dedes is selected to her fourth All-America team this year, this being her second Academic All-America recognition, after sitting atop the CACC with 34 points while tying for first in assists (10). Dedes ranked in the top-5 in the conference in total goals, goals-per-game, points-per-game, and assists-per-game. Her play helped her make the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) and United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams. Dedes' academic accomplishments helped as well as she was named the CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for October as well as being on the CACC All-Academic Team multiple times in her career. Dedes had 12 goals, 10 assists, 34 points, and 4 game-winning goals in 21 starts for the Rams. She completes her career as the 13th player and fourth women in school history to reach 100 career points while ranking in the top-10 in multiple categories in Jefferson history.
 
Yeager makes the Academic All-America Second Team this year after making 21 starts for Jefferson this year, helping the Rams record 14 shutouts this season, with a .700 shutout percentage, and help Jefferson return to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second consecutive season. With her play, Yeager became a three-time CACC Defensive Player of the Year alongside All-CACC First Team honors as well as a D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team honoree. The Cinnaminson, N.J. also made the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Team as well as being on the CACC All-Academic Team twice.
 
Both Yeager and Dedes earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region as well.
