Men's Tennis Falls Versus #36 Grand Valley State
LAKELAND, Fla. - Thomas Jefferson University (2-5) stayed down in Florida for their spring break trip as they went up against #36 Grand Valley State University (6-3) on Wednesday. The Rams fell to the Lakers 6-1.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Jefferson took the doubles point to begin the day. Grand Valley State won the first position early on, but the Rams saw Antonio Mateos Melenchon and Jules Thibault secure the second spot while Johary Rabetrano and Nicholas Trebuchet earned the third position win to head into the singles matches up 1-0
- The Lakers would go on to win all six singles matches over Jefferson. Matt Cizmark took the second set to a 7-6 (7-4) defeat while Trebuchet and Thibault went three sets on the day
