Barry, Grahn Secure CACC Rookie of the Week Nod

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University freshman Thierno Barry and Olivia Grahn both delivered on the past weekend and went to secure Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards for competition that ran through March 17-24. Grahn was named CACC Rookie of the Week while Thierno Barry secured CACC Co-Rookie of the Week recognition. 

OLIVIA GRAHN – ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Grahn has her first track & field award this season. Grahn went to win the 5000 meter race at the Purple & Gold Opener while breaking the school record for the event as she ran a 17:33.35 time. 

THIERNO BARRY – CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 
Barry has his first track & field award on the year. Barry went to win the 5000 meter race at the Purple & Gold Opener, running a 15:57.82 time that qualifies him for the CACC Tournament.
