Heading to Arizona! Men's Tennis Takes Down Fairmont State to Advance to the Round of 16
FAIRMONT STATE, W. VA. - Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (18-6) competed in their second NCAA Atlantic Regional on Tuesday as they took on Fairmont State University (18-5). The Falcons took the doubles point early on, but the Rams went to edge Fairmont State 4-1 in the singles matches to earn the 4-2 victory and advance to the NCAA Championships in Surprise, Arizona.
WHAT HAPPENED

The Falcons went up 2-0 after securing the second position. Jefferson went on a run to win the third, sixth, first, and fourth spot. Thibault won 6-2, 6-4 in the third spot and Matt Cizmarik took the sixth position 6-2, 6-2 to even the match up
UP NEXT
Jefferson will now head to Surprise, Arizona to compete in the NCAA Championships. The Round of 16 will have every team reseeded, with the Rams having an opponent to be determined for their match on Wednesday, May 20.
