Boyle, Rams Take Third at Osprey Open

Boyle fronted a Rams squad that placed third out of 15 teams

GALLOWAY, N.J. (Sept. 18, 2026) – Led by talented sophomore Dylan Boyle (Bethlehem, Pa. / Freedom), the Thomas Jefferson University men's cross country team turned in a strong showing at the Osprey Open on Saturday, placing third out of 15 scoring teams with 83 points.

Results

Jefferson secured third place by one point over host Stockton, which finished with 84.

Boyle paced the Rams with a third-place individual finish, completing the 8K course in 25:42.8 to medal the race. He was the lone Jefferson runner inside the Top 20 and helped set the tone for a tightly grouped Rams team.

Freshman Aiden Chivalette (Havertown, Pa. / Haverford) was the next Jefferson runner to cross the line, finishing 21st overall in 26:58.6. Junior Mitchell Bradley (Pottsville, Pa. / York Catholic) followed in 26th with a time of 27:11.8.

The Rams then placed four runners within five spots of one another. Rookie Ian Doll (Ellicott City, Md. Centennial) took 29th at 27:14.0, followed immediately by sophomore Ryan Goldberg (Manalapan, N.J. Manalapan) in 30th at 27:14.9. Goldberg rounded out Jefferson's five scoring runners, who combined for a total time of 2:14:21 and an average of 26:52.

Head Coach Joe Dare and the Rams will return to action on Friday, Oct. 2 when they compete in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
