Grahn Maintains Dominance at Osprey Invite

The Rams took second overall at a loaded race in North Jersey

GALLOWAY, N.J. (Sept. 18, 2026) – The Thomas Jefferson University women's cross country team placed second out of 14 scoring teams at the Osprey Open on Saturday, totaling 59 points behind a standout individual performance from sophomore Olivia Grahn (Stockholm, Sweden / Stockholms Idrottsgymnasium).

Results

The Rams' five scoring runners combined for a time of 1:56:29 and averaged 23:17 over the 6K course.

Grahn won the race with a winning time of 21:12.0, finishing more than 34 seconds ahead of the next runner across the line. Her time served as a 6K PR one week after clearing 19 minutes on the 5K course at Belmont Park. She also finished more than a minute ahead of runner-up. Senior Natalie McFadden (Philadelphia, Pa. / Archbishop Ryan) gave Jefferson a second top-10 finisher, crossing in 23:10.3 to finish sixth.

Making her intercollegiate debut on a 6K course, rookie Hayley Holland followed in 11th place with a time of 23:30 flat, while sophomore Milana Daiute (Drums, Pa. / Hazelton Area) finished directly behind her in 12th (23:32.9). Senior Hannah Powell (Philadelphia, Pa. / Central) rounded out the Rams' scoring five with a 38th-place finish in 25:04.2, helping Jefferson hold off Moravian University for second place.

Head Coach Joe Dare and the Rams will return to action on Friday, Oct. 2 when they compete in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
