HAVERFORD, Pa. (Oct. 23, 2026) – Sophomore Olivia Grahn (Stockholm, Sweden / Stockholms Idrottsgymnasium) continued her dominant, historic season with another race win as the Thomas Jefferson University women's cross country team placed third collectively at the Haverford Invitational on Friday.
Jefferson totaled 60 points in the seven-team field, trailing only Division I programs UPenn and Villanova University. The Rams' five scoring runners combined for a time of 1:34:35 and averaged 18:55 over the 5K course.
Grahn won the race outright 5K PR of 17:17.3, averaging 5:33.8 per mile. She lowered her previous 5K collegiate best by more than a minute while finishing almost half a minute ahead of the runner-up. Senior Natalie McFadden (Philadelphia, Pa. / Archbishop Ryan) gave the Rams another PR with a 12th-place time of 19:01.7, while sophomore Milana Daiute (Drums, Pa. / Hazelton Area) followed directly behind in 13th with a PR of 19:14.7.
Senior Hannah Powell (Philadelphia, Pa. / Central) added another personal best, taking 18th overall in 19:30.1. Freshman Hayley Holland completed Jefferson's scoring five in 20th at 19:31.8, establishing her first completed collegiate 5K mark.
Junior Sarah Lorenz (Springfield, Pa. / Cardinal O'Hara) continued the string of career-best performances, crossing 27th in a 5K PR of 20:10.8. Freshman Samantha Milsovic followed with a collegiate 5K PR of 22:53.6, improving by more than two minutes from her previous collegiate best of 25:11.7, making it a total of six new personal-best times for a deep and talented Rams squad.
Head Coach Joe Dare and the Rams return to competition on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the CACC Championships at Ocean County Park in Lakewood, N.J., hosted by Georgian Court University. The Rams are not only looking for a fifth CACC Championship in the post-COVID era, but will look to match last year's dominance where they swept the top five scorers.
