NORRISTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2026) – Senior Jaden Minter (Royersford, Pa. / Spring-Ford) posted a top-five individual finish as the Thomas Jefferson University men's golf team placed fifth at the TJU Fall Invitational their home course at Jeffersonville Golf Club.
Jefferson completed the 54-hole tournament with a team score of 935 . The Rams finished fifth in the nine-team field, ahead of Bloomsburg University, Davis & Elkins University, Dominican University (N.Y.) and Franklin Pierce College.
Over all three rounds, Minter led the charge for the Rams, shooting a 10-over 226. The senior opened with a 79 (+7) before firing a one-under 71 in the second round -- the best round of the tournament by a Jefferson golfer and one of only a handful of under-par rounds shot by any golfer in the field thanks to the suboptimal playing conditions and overall strength of the course. He closed with a 76 (+4) to secure his top-five finish.
Another notable Jefferson finisher on the leaderboard was freshman international Eduardo Villarejo who joined Minter in the top 25. Villarejo carded rounds of 77 (+5), 75 (+3) and 82 (+10).
Head Coach Nick Nguyen and the Rams will play again at their home course in Norristown on Tuesday, Oct. 6 for the CACC Men's Golf Championships.
