PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Sept. 29, 2026) – Senior outside hitter Emily McKenna (Drexel Hill, Pa. / Sacred Heart Academy) reached double-digit kills for the 11th time this year during Thomas Jefferson University' road volleyball tilt with Holy Family University.

Both the Rams and Tigers entered Tuesday's contest unbeaten in CACC play. McKenna, in particular, came on strong in the second and third sets where she accrued all 10 of her kills for the match.

While the Rams ultimately came up short, they did push the Tigers at points over a very full three-set match. Jefferson had eight service aces between five different players, while freshman Lyllah Sapp (Bakersfield, Calif. / Frontier), the reigning CACC Setter of the Week, led the visitors with 23 assists and junior middle blocker Liz Tanis (Abington, Pa. / Abington) found herself responsible for three total blocks in addition to a team best three service aces.

Head Coach Eric Schaefer and the Rams, still in good CACC standing, will look to get back on track when they open October at Millersville University on Thursday, Oct. 1.
