Nick Schlitzer joined the men's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2021-22 season.

Schlitzer played for the Rams from 2011-15 and is a member of the 1,000-point club. He was a two-time All-CACC selection and was the 2015 CACC Tourmament MVP after leading the Rams to the CACC title. Schlitzer was also a two-time CACC All-Academic honoree. He ended his career with 1,707 points and ranks in the program's top 10 in three-pointers and three-point attempts. Schlitzer was a member of two CACC Championship squads and three NCAA Tournament teams.
