KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball player Erik Timko was chosen to the NABC East All-District Second Team, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced on Monday.
 
The selection makes Timko a consensus All-Region honoree after he was named to the D2CCA All-East Region Second Team last week.
 
Timko led Jefferson with 21.2 points per game, which is third in the region and 14th nationally. He also ranks eighth in Division II in free throw percentage (91.0). Timko was named the CACC Rookie of the Year and to the All-CACC First Team. He scored a career-high 34 points three times during the season.
