Men's Tennis Stays on Winning Track With Second Shutout of Deacons on the Season

Head Coach Marty Gilbert's men's tennis team cruised to another victory today, their fourth straight, this time a 9-0 whitewash over visiting Bloomfield College.

The Rams, ranked number eight in the NCAA Division II East Region, downed the Deacons for the second time in the last month, also winning 9-0 on the road back on March 13.

With today's win, the Philadelphia University men's tennis program improves their record to 11-7 in duel matches for the 2007-'08 season.

Freshman Kyle Kaltenbacher (Colorado Springs, Colo./The Classical Academy; pictured) led the way with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number one singles while also teaming with senior Anders Novesky (Cornwall, N.Y./Cornwall) for an 8-0 proset win at first doubles.
