Philadelphia,
PA- The #6 east-ranked Philadelphia University women's
soccer team (1-1-3, 1-0 CACC) tied a non-conference match 2-2
against #9 C.W. Post College (2-1-2, 0-0 ECC) on Wednesday
afternoon at Ravenhill Field.
The Pioneers scored in the
24th minute of the first half on a touch from Ivona
Babic to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
PhilaU forward Trisha Sileo
tied it up 1-1 in the 24th minute of the second half, on
a pass back from defender Brittany MacDonald,
but CWP's Jackie Sousa scored in the 15th minute to make
it 2-1.
PhilaU caught a lucky break at
8:32 remaining in the second half as Sileo took a hard shot that
caromed off the goalie to a CWP player back to the goalie and into
the net to tie it at 2-2.

Kowalewski had 10 saves in 90 minutes for the Rams,
while CWP's Allie Weiser made 11 stops for the
Pioneers.
The Rams return to action at
Ravenhill Field on Saturday (9/18) vs. Caldwell College at 12:00
p.m. in CACC action.
