Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's tennis team (0-2) was knocked off by La Salle University (3-1) 5-2 in their Thursday afternoon match.

The men had little success in the singles matches. However, senior #3 player Manoli Sgouros defeated La Salle's Joseph LaBate (6-1, 6-4).

PhilaU. had more success in the doubles matches winning 2 out of the 3 matches.

The men's team will host St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday (10/7) on the Abraham J. Salaman '58 courts at 3:30 PM.
