Men's Tennis Knocks Out Bloomfield, 9-0

Bloomfield, NJ– The Philadelphia University men's tennis team (14-5, 4-1 CACC) grabbed a 9-0 victory on the road at Bloomfield College (1-6, 1-3 CACC). The rams allowed only four points against them across both single and doubles.

The singles matchups saw four 8-0 sets. Junior Adrian Torroella-Cruz battled in an 8-3 match, coming out on top. Ryan Christopher, Manoli Sgouros, Eric Guerrero and Seppi Hutter each topped their opponents 8-0.

PhilaU notched three more victories in doubles. Burke and Christopher along with Hutter and McAvoy each played 8-0 shutouts.

The Rams are set to return home to face Cabrini College on Monday (4/11) at 4:00 p.m.
