PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Division I La Salle Sunday afternoon at the Abraham Salaman Tennis Courts.

The Rams are now 1-3 overall, while La Salle improves to 2-1.

Kyle Burke and Chris Casamassina were tough in an 8-6 defeat in the No. 2 doubles match against Joseph LaBate and Chas Berenato.

In singles action, Dylan Bhaerman and Nail Rachidi took their opponents to tiebreakers. Bhaerman fell to Berenato 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5) in the No. 2 match. Dale Fetterman defeated Rachidi 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5) in the No. 5 flight.

Philadelphia concludes its fall season with three consecutive road matches starting on Saturday, Oct. 6 at St. Thomas Aquinas at noon.
