Rams fall to Baldwin Wallace in spring break opener, 6-3

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Philadelphia University men's tennis team started its spring break trip off with a 6-3 loss to Baldwin Wallace Monday afternoon.

The Rams are now 2-6 overall, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 12-0.

After getting swept in doubles action, Philadelphia came back to take three of the six singles matches.

In the No. 2 match, Ayman Barakat (Kharkiv, Ukraine/Kharkiv Specialized English School #3) took out Peter Harris, 8-4. Dylan Bhaerman (Columbus, Ohio/Pickerington North) was victorious in the No. 5 flight against Brad Minrovic, 8-6. Chris Casamassima (Franklin Square, N.Y./St. Mary's) earned an 8-2 win over Dan Rowsey in No. 6 singles action.

Philadelphia continues its trip with a match against Ithaca on Wednesday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m.
