PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (13-1, 4-1 CACC) defeated visiting Post, 3-0, on Homecoming Saturday.

GAMEPLAY
The two teams played a tight opening set. The Eagles seemed to be in control with a pair of set points at 24-22. However, the Rams rallied for three points to take a 25-24 lead. Post tied it up but Jefferson recorded the next two points to take the set.

The Rams dominated the second stanza, posting a hitting percentage of .464. Jefferson won the set 25-15. In the third, the Eagles held an 11-9 lead but the Rams came back with a 7-1 run to go ahead 16-12. Post came no closer than two points the rest of the way as Jefferson clinched the match with a 25-20 triumph.
