Volleyball Earns Sweep Against Post; Stays Unbeaten in CACC
 
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (13-7, 10-0) went into the Gallagher Center and kept their unbeaten Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) record intact with a 3-0 victory over Post University in Saturday afternoon action.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
Post took an early 4-2 before the Rams would go on a 7-3 run to go ahead 9-7. The Eagles would keep within range, trailing in the contest only 19-18 near the end before Jefferson took six of the last seven points to earn the first set 25-19.
 
The Rams would keep their momentum going as they were up 8-3 to begin the second set. Each team would have at least two straight points before the Rams added three in a row to push their lead 15-9. The Eagles would make it 16-12, but Jefferson kept their momentum in full swing with a 20-13 advantage After trailing 24-17, the Eagles would rip four in a row and trail only by three points. But a kill would secure the last point and second set for the Rams 25-21.
 
Post would get ahead 4-3 to begin the third, but five points in a row gave Jefferson the lead. Post would get on a 6-3 run and trail only by one point, but Jefferson would not look back as they ended the set on a 14-4 run and would win the third set 25-14, earning the CACC sweep on the day.
