Ritchie and Molen Both Reach 1,000 Kill Milestone

Morgan Ritchie and
Jess Molen were the seventh and eighth volleyball player's in Rams history to have reach the 1,000-kill milestone.
MORGAN RITCHIE – 1000 KILLS
Ritchie achieved her milestone on November 4
th as she had a kill in the second set. Ritchie is the seventh player to reach the 1000 kill milestone for Jefferson. She is having her best season, with 385 kills on the year which is good for eighth in school history for single season kills. Ritchie had 257 kills her freshman year and 358 in her sophomore campaign. She is a 2x CACC Champion (2021, 2022), was a All-CACC Second Team (2022), AVCA All-East Region Honorable Mention (2022), and 2x CACC All-Tournament Team (2022).
JESS MOLEN
Molen reached her 1,000
th kill on November 9 against Wilmington University of Delaware in the first set. Molen has 136 kills this season, playing in only 36 sets for the Rams. She has had 392 kills her freshman year, seventh in single season school history, and 471 kills in her sophomore season, third most in school history. Molen is a 2x CACC Champion, the D2CCA East Region Player of the Year (2022), CACC Player of the Year (2022), CACC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2022-23), 2x All-CACC First Team (2021, 2022), 2x CACC Tournament MVP, 2x CACC All-Tournament Team, was the NCAA Statistical Champion in Service Aces Per Set (2021), and many more accolades.
Both Ritchie and Molen will look to conclude the 2023 regular season campaign for Jefferson volleyball when they host Bloomfield College on Saturday, November 11 at 12 p.m. in CACC action.
