Yeager Secures Second CACC Defensive Player of the Week Honors
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer junior
Carly Yeager takes home her second weekly award honors this season as she was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week for competition that ran through October 14-20 as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Yeager has her second weekly award this season, fourth in her career, as well as the sixth for the Rams this year. She helped anchor a defense that only allowed two goals out of 40 shots taken this week, helping the Rams go 1-1-1 in their contests. Yeager played all 90 minutes in each game, including Jefferson's 2-1 CACC win over Wilmington and a 1-1 tie against Mercy.
Women's soccer will get their first home game in nearly three weeks this Wednesday, October 21 as the Rams welcome CACC opponent Goldey-Beacom College to Ravenhill Field at 3:30 p.m.
