Women's Lacrosse Takes Down Caldwell in Three Quarters 

CALDWELL, N.J. - Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse team (3-3, 3-0) competed on a rainy day against Caldwell University (1-4, 0-3) where the Rams defeated the Cougars 15-2 after three quarters in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition. The game was called before the fourth began due to the weather. 

WHAT HAPPENED 
The Rams put out five goals in the first quarter behind two from Carina Raymond and one off Lynn Hardy, Erin Avanzato, and Ellie Lefton. L. Hardy added another goal in the second, followed a man up goal by Iris Gluck. The Cougars added two goals off free positions to make it 7-2 with 5:21 left in the half. Lefton responded with a quick goal, then put another one with 19 seconds to go in the half. L. Hardy added one more with 4 seconds left to give the Rams a 10-2 lead heading into the half. 

Jefferson began the running clock 2:18 minutes into the third quarter with L. Hardy and Chloe Price goals to have it at 12-2. E. Avanzato, Taylor Hood, and Regan Rogers all put up goals during the last 12:42 minutes to push their lead to 15-2. The fourth quarter was not played due to weather circumstances, ending the matchup at 15-2.

Jefferson will now return to Ravenhill Field for a CACC matchup on Tuesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. when the Rams take on Chestnut Hill College.
