Women's Volleyball Stumbles Against Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University women's volleyball (5-9, 1-4) looked to bounce back as they went on the road to take on the University of Bridgeport (4-13, 4-2) on Saturday afternoon action. The Rams ended up falling to the Purple Knights 3-1.

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Jefferson took the first set 25-20. The Rams were up 23-13 before the Purple Knights got close to overtake the lead 

• Bridgeport went to win the second set 25-20 and the third 26-24. The Purple Knights concluded the series in the fourth, earning a 25-14 victory and earning the series win 3-1
