Women's Tennis Completes Sweep Over Post
TORRINGTON, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (11-0, 9-0) secured the No.1 seed heading into the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships this weekend. The Rams looked to take of business before the eventual tournament as they took on Post University (0-12, 0-9) in conference competition. Jefferson won their second outing with the Eagles with a 7-0 victory.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Jefferson secured the doubles point after a forfeit win in the third spot and a 6-0 victory in the first position from Madina Omarova and Marely Alvarado. Sophia Babar and Emily Frost took the second position point 6-3
- After taking two singles points by forfeit in the fifth and sixth spot, the Rams won all their singles bouts as Anouk Oderkerk, Marta Vázquez, Babar, and Frost took their matches in two sets
