Moyer and Yeager Take Defensive Player of the Week Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University graduate student Glenn Moyer and senior Carly Yeager both helped the Rams to a shutout regular season finale and earned themselves Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Defensive Player of the Week awards, announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon from action that ran through November 3-9. 

GLENN MOYER – DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Moyer ends his career with his first weekly award in his career while giving the team his third on the season. Moyer played 73 minutes in the Rams defensive shutout of Chestnut Hill, defeating the Griffins 5-0 in the final regular season game and earned a home playoff game. 

CARLY YEAGER – DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
Yeager adds her fourth weekly award this year, eighth in her career, and seventh for women's soccer this season. Yeager played all 90 minutes and anchored a defense that allowed only four shots while recording their 13th shutout this season, fifth in a row, to defeat Chestnut Hill 2-0.
